Realized seminar: “Montenegro in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration”

CEDEM, in cooperation with the German Konrad Adenauer Stiftung – KAS, in the period 18-20. March, at the Maestral Hotel in Milocer, organized a seminar on “Montenegro in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration”.

It is a project that CEDEM and the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation have been successfully implementing for many years, and since last year a new partner in the project is the Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies in Brussels. The seminar was organized for 30 students of the Faculty of Political Science, Law and Economics from Podgorica, and aimed to raise awareness and expand knowledge among young people about key aspects and importance of Euro-Atlantic integration.

The seminar was opened by Mr. Nenad Koprivica, Executive Director of CEDEM and Mr. Norbert Beckmann-Dierkes, Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Serbia and Montenegro. Ms. Bernada Cunj from the Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies in Brussels welcomed the gathering on the second day of the seminar. Lecturers at the seminar were Mr. Miodrag Radović, Secretary of the Negotiating Group for Negotiations on Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union, HE Elisabeth Gudrun Steinacker, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Montenegro, prof. dr Gordana Đurović, professor at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, N.E. Krisztian Posa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Montenegro, Colonel Dr. Mehmedin Tahirović from the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro and Prof. Dr. Dražen Cerović, from the Faculty of Law in Podgorica.
