CEDEM became a member of the International ESCR Network
CEDEM has gained membership in the International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR-Net). The network acts as a platform for solidarity, mutual learning and joint work on the promotion and protection of human rights, especially economic, social and cultural.
It brings together over 200 members in more than 70 countries around the world, with the aim of promoting and ensuring economic and social justice. For the past eight years, members of the network have worked to adopt, ratify and promote the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights around the world.
