CEDEM celebrated 20 years of existence
Center for Democracy and Human Rights – CEDEM celebrated its 20th anniversary on Friday, December 15 at the Center Villa Hotel in Podgorica.
Since its founding, CEDEM has implemented numerous activities and projects for which it is known in the domestic and foreign public, focusing on six areas: democracy and the rule of law, human rights, Euro-Atlantic integration, social inclusion, security and defense and empirical research. All this was realized with the support of the members of the Management Board, employees, as well as the assistance of a large number of associates. CEDEM’s activities have been supported by numerous donors from the USA and Europe, and CEDEM’s intellectual and professional efforts have contributed to our organization being recognized among the fifteen leading think-tank organizations in Eastern and Southeastern Europe for many years.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of high-ranking officials, representatives of state institutions, political parties, civil society, media, diplomatic missions, foreign organizations in Montenegro and long-term associates of CEDEM.
