A focus group was held with representatives of the Ombudsman
Representatives of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights – CEDEM held a focus group with employees of the Ombudsman Institution, and within the project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacities of the Ombudsman for Security Sector Oversight” to map key obstacles and problems in successfully overseeing security sector institutions.
The focus group was attended by the Deputy Protectors of Human Rights and Freedoms, advisors and employees of the General and the Department for Protection against Discrimination.
The project was created with the aim of contributing to strengthening the rule of law and human rights in the security sector, with special emphasis on strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ombudsman in overseeing the security sector. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ombudsman Institution, with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Montenegro.
