CEDEM, in partnership with the Montenegrin Women’s Lobby (CLL), organized a second training to strengthen the capacity of representatives of institutions to identify victims of trafficking, with a special focus on children. The training was realized in Budva, 6/7. February, within the project Let’s support the victims of trafficking, child begging and forced marriages, supported by the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade.
The aim of this training was to contribute to strengthening the capacity of representatives of key institutions – signatories of the Memorandum of Cooperation – to better identify and treat victims of trafficking, especially minors who enjoy special protection. In addition to the representatives of CEDEM and CZL, the training was attended by representatives of the NGO Athens from Belgrade, who introduced the participants to the mechanisms of combating trafficking in Serbia and presented comparative experiences and examples from practice.
