Training on asylum and irregular migration for government officials
Organized by CEDEM, the Maestral Hotel in Milocer is 6/7. In February, a two-day training on international and European standards and practices in the field of asylum and irregular migration management was held for representatives of the Border Police, the Asylum Directorate and the Refugee Administration.
The training covered the basics of refugee law, universal standards for the protection of migrants within the UN system and the Single European Asylum System, as well as standards for the protection of migrants within the Council of Europe. The training was realized in cooperation with the Dutch Refugee Center, within the project Capacity Building of the Montenegrin Asylum System and Irregular Migration Management, which was supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Belgrade.
