Training on asylum management and illegal migration
Organized by CEDEM and the Civic Alliance, the Maestral Hotel in Milocer is hosting a two-day training on international and European standards and practices in the field of asylum and irregular migration management, for representatives of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, the Misdemeanor Council, the Bar and the Border Police. Asylum Directorate and Refugee Administration.
The training covers the basics of refugee law, universal standards for the protection of migrants within the UN system, the basics of a single European asylum system, as well as standards for the protection of migrants and asylum seekers within the Council of Europe.
The training is implemented within the project Support to the Montenegrin Asylum System and Irregular Migration Management, which is supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Montenegro.
