Press release on the CERD report
On the occasion of the publication of the Report of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) on the implementation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, CEDEM and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) – members of the CA, emphasize that , stigmatization and discrimination.
The Committee considered the second and third reports of Montenegro on the application of this Convention at its session held on 5/6. February and on that occasion expressed concern over the difficult socio-economic situation of members of this community and their exposure to discrimination. To review this report, CEDEM and YIHR prepared and submitted to the Committee an alternative report on the situation in the field of anti-discrimination.
