Results of the PASOS survey on trust in institutions in the Western Balkans

CEDEM, together with other members of the PASOS network, participated in the research: Trust in Institutions in the Western Balkans. The results of the research showed that the level of trust that the citizens of the Western Balkans have in national and international institutions dropped significantly in 2015, and the most drastic drop in trust was recorded among political parties.

The results of the survey showed that in Montenegro only 25% of citizens have confidence in political parties, which is a decrease of 9% compared to the previous survey. This research was conducted as part of the EU-funded Open Government Advocacy project to promote governance transparency in the Western Balkans. There are also interactive presentations showing institutions with the highest and lowest trust of citizens in the Western Balkans. You can find the press release about this research here.
