Organized seminar: Montenegro in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration
In collaboration with the German Hanns-Seidel Stiftung, in the period 28-29. March, in the hotel “Splendid” in Becici, CEDEM traditionally organized a seminar on the topic: Montenegro in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
About 30 students of the Faculty of Political Science and the Faculty of Economics had the opportunity to expand their knowledge of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro, to hear from renowned lecturers and key actors more about the negotiation process, political and economic aspects of accession and challenges. facing Montenegro. Students were also given the opportunity to compare the experiences of countries in the region with experts in these fields and participate in an interactive debate.
The introductory speech at the seminar was given by Mr. Lutz Kober, Head of the Office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation for Serbia and Montenegro, and Nenad Koprivica, MA, Executive Director of CEDEM. On the first day, they taught Mr. Miodrag Radović, Secretary of the Negotiating Group for Negotiations on Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and prof. Dr. Gordana Đurović, full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, and on the second day they exhibited N.E. Kristijan Poša, Ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro, as well as Colonel Dr. Mehmedin Tahirović from the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro.
