CEDEM, Pedagogical Center of Montenegro and Enfants presented the project “Education to Social Inclusion”
Today, in the premises of the EU Info Center in Podgorica, the official presentation of the project “Education for Social Inclusion” was held, which is implemented with the support of the European Union, through the EU Delegation to Montenegro, through the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Montenegro – Kosovo * 2011-2013.
The project aims to improve the social inclusion of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians in the field of education by improving institutional accountability and providing better educational services. Representatives of the project team implementing the project on behalf of CEDEM and the Pedagogical Center spoke at the conference, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights of the Government of Montenegro. In addition to media representatives, the conference was attended by non-governmental organizations dealing with the social inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro, as well as a delegation from Kosovo who is on a study visit to Montenegro.
