Round table: Montenegro in the process of European integration

In partnership with PASOS from the Czech Republic, within the project Enlargement and Citizenship: Looking to the Future, CEDEM organized a round table on June 7, 2014, at Sentido Hotel Tara, Budva, on Montenegro in the process of European integration.

The aim of the round table was to present the key research results in terms of Montenegro’s results in the enlargement process, as well as to provide wider public and government support in the EU integration process. Also, the round table presented the main conclusions on the role of citizens and the level of their involvement in providing support to relevant institutions in the EU accession process.

The participants of the round table were students of the Faculty of Political Sciences from Podgorica, representatives of the youth of political parties in Montenegro, representatives of a group of citizens, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and members of the academic community.

The project, coordinated by PASOS from the Czech Republic, is supported by the European Commission, through the Europe for Citizens program. In addition to CEDEM, the project partners are: the Institute of Public Affairs from Poland, the Center for Public Policy PROVIDUS from Latvia, the European Institute from Bulgaria and the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies from Belgrade.
