
International Conference: Skills, Competences and Inclusion
Researcher at CEDEM, Jenita Brčvak, participated in an international conference held in Vienna on December 5-6, entitled International Open Space Conference: Skills, Competences, Inclusion. The conference was organized with the support of the European Union, and in coordination with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Federal Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture.
The aim of the second conference was to bring together participants and promoters of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region from fourteen countries in the Danube region with the aim of developing innovative regional policies for human resources development and projects, and forming a network in thematic areas such as quality and efficiency. education systems, promoting creativity and entrepreneurship in education and training to stimulate innovation, improving coordination of cross-sectoral policies to address demographic and migration challenges, cooperation between key labor market actors, educational institutions and research policies for regional development, creating a comprehensive lifelong learning strategy and empowering marginalized communities in the Danube region (Roma communities, for example).
Janita was the only representative of the NGO sector from Montenegro, while the rest of the Montenegrin delegation consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Science, the Ministry of Finance and the Employment Bureau.
