Competition for submitting essays for pupils and students on the topic “What is NATO for you?”

Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM)

announces a competition for the submission of essays for pupils and students on the topic “What is NATO for you?”

After an extremely successful three-day school that we organized in Petrovac, we continue with activities aimed at young people, announcing this competition for the submission of essays on a given topic of youth and NATO.

We are interested in what you, high school and university students, think about NATO, what NATO means to you, how do you perceive its security role in the modern world, and what is the role of our country as the youngest full member of the Alliance?

By organizing this competition, we want to encourage young people – students and pupils to research and improve existing knowledge when it comes to the values, missions and tasks of the Alliance.

General instructions:

The competition is open to fourth grade students of all high schools in Montenegro and first and second year students of the University of Montenegro, the University of the Mediterranean and the University of Donja Gorica;

The essay must be written on a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 pages in Word (Times New Roman – font 12);

The essay can be written in Montenegrin or English;

-One author can submit only one essay.

Prizes:
For the three best written essays, cash prizes, certificates and an invitation to participate in the Final Conference of the project were provided, where the winners of the competition will present their works.
