Second Regional Forum on the Rule of Law in Southeast Europe
CEDEM representative Marija Vuksanovic participated in the second Regional Forum on the Rule of Law for Southeast Europe, held in Belgrade on March 6th and 7th, organized by the AIRE Center in London and the branch of the international organization Civil Rights Defenders for the Western Balkans.
The Forum was attended by the highest representatives of the judiciary in the region, judges of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), state representatives before the court, as well as lawyers and human rights activists. The focus of this year’s Regional Forum was the implementation of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights, through the case law of national courts and the Strasbourg Court.
