SEC to disclose all data regarding the collection of voters’ signatures
The Center for Democracy and Human Rights-CEDEM calls on the State Election Commission to make public all data regarding the control of the collection of signatures by the electoral lists that ran in the October parliamentary elections.
Namely, 17 electoral lists ran in the elections and submitted 110,000 signatures of voters, while political entities, according to their own confession, collected as many as 163,000 signatures, which would make over 40% of the number of voters who go to the polls. This incredible data, hitherto unrecorded in political practice, shows that practically every other active voter in Montenegro gave his signature to an electoral list, which raises serious suspicions that the signatures were not collected in accordance with the law.
