CEDEM and CZL organized an initial meeting with the Office for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings
The Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM) and the Montenegrin Women’s Lobby (CLL) continue to cooperate through the implementation of the project “Building Sustainable Results in the Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings” which aims to strengthen the capacity of representatives of institutions to identify victims of trafficking. and enhancing coordination and cooperation between key actors in the fight against trafficking in human beings.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade, within the Canadian Fund. Having in mind the importance of sustainable communication and cooperation between representatives of institutions and the non-governmental sector, CEDEM and CZL at the very beginning of the project organize a set of short meetings with institutions and organizations – signatories of the Memorandum of Cooperation. The first such meeting was held today with representatives of the Office for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, Ms. Tijana Šuković and Ms. Marijana Radunovic. Further activities were agreed through institutional action and the civil sector, educational and informative activities in continuity as well as the promotion of a free SOS line for anti-trafficking – 11 66 66.
