
CEDEM participated in the Rule of Law Forum for Southeast Europe
Vladan Simonović, President of the Board of Directors of CEDEM, attended the Forum on the Rule of Law for Southeast Europe, which was held on March 18 and 19 in Sarajevo.
The aim of the Forum is to promote the implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights in the region, strengthen regional cooperation through the continuous development of the rule of law and human rights, as well as improve the EU integration process in the region. In addition to the delegations of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, the Forum was attended by judges of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) from these countries, directors of judicial academies and institutions. before the ECtHR, as well as representatives of the non-governmental sector. The Rule of Law Forum for Southeast Europe has been organized by the AIRE Center from London and the “Civil Rights Defenders” for the third year in a row.
