CEDEM at an expert workshop dedicated to the refugee crisis
Nenad Koprivica, Executive Director of CEDEM, participated in the expert workshop A Look Beyond the Horizon: Dealing with the Refugee and Migrant Crisis, which was held in Belgrade on March 10 and 11, 2016.
The workshop was organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence (BFPE) and the Association for Southeast Europe (SOG) from Munich, with the support of the Open Society Foundation – Serbia, and within the German chairmanship of the OSCE in 2016. The aim of this workshop was to bring together representatives of decision-makers, international organizations, civil society and independent experts from countries on the “Balkan route” and its immediate surroundings, to propose steps towards sustainable solutions in terms of humanitarian dimension, political implications and security risks. Mr. Koprivica participated in the workshop in a panel entitled “What do the countries on the” route “still need to do in order to overcome the crisis?
