Training of young staff in the judiciary

The training program for young staff in the judiciary is part of a multi-year project Strengthening the capacity of young staff in the judiciary, which aims to provide trainees and professional associates in courts, prosecutors, public administrations and law firms, provide additional knowledge on national legislation and European Convention on Human Rights and thus contribute to the implementation of legal reform in Montenegro.
So far, over 200 trainees and professional associates, trainee lawyers and law students have participated in the realization of the trainings. This year’s training will cover the areas of criminal and misdemeanor law. Special attention will be paid to practical work, through the form of workshops, in order to provide trainees with applicable and practical knowledge and skills that will be useful in their further work. The project is being implemented with the support of the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation – Program in Montenegro.
