A guide to anti-discrimination legislation

Today, CEDEM, in cooperation with the AIRE Center from London, organized a press conference at which the Guide to Anti-Discrimination Legislation was presented. The development and publication of the Guide was supported by the British Embassy in Podgorica.

At the conference, in addition to Mr. Nenad Koprivica, Executive Director of CEDEM, spoke Mr. Lyndon Radnedge, Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy in Podgorica, Ms. Marijana Laković Drašković, author of the Guide and Independent Expert on Human Rights and Protection against Discrimination and Ms. Biljana Braithwaite, author of the Guide and Program Manager of the AIRE Center in London.

In addition to media representatives, the conference was attended by a representative of the Office of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms in Montenegro and a representative of the Association of Youth with Disabilities.

The Guide to Anti-Discrimination Legislation is CEDEM’s third publication, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the national and international legal and institutional framework governing the field of non-discrimination and protection against discrimination. The publication is intended for lawyers-practitioners, as well as for citizens who want to get acquainted in more detail with the main institutional mechanisms of protection against discrimination and get information on how to address these institutions.
