Training: capacity building of representatives of institutions

CEDEM, in partnership with the Montenegrin Women’s Lobby (CLL), organized a training to strengthen the capacity of representatives of institutions to identify victims of trafficking, with a special focus on children. The training was realized in Milocer, 22/23. December, within the project Supporting Victims of Trafficking, Child Begging and Forced Marriages, supported by the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade, within the CIDA Fund.

The aim of this training was to contribute to strengthening the capacity of representatives of key institutions – signatories of the Memorandum of Cooperation – to better identify and treat victims of trafficking, especially minors who enjoy special protection. The participants were introduced to the key mechanisms in the fight against human trafficking, but also to the elements of specific communication with victims of trafficking, their protection and the provision of assistance and support through case studies.
