Workshop on the Optional Protocol to the Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
Organized by CEDEM, the Action for Human Rights and the International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR-Net), it is 15/16 in Budva. A workshop on the implementation of the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OP-ICESCR) was held in Montenegro in September.
The workshop was organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and the Ford Foundation and brought together activists of civil society organizations. The aim of the workshop was to exchange experiences and ideas on the possibilities of effective protection of economic, social and cultural rights in Montenegro on the basis of the Optional Protocol, which entered into force in May 2013.
