INVITATION: Trainings for representatives of the media, civil society and freelance journalists
Center for Democracy and Human Rights – CEDEM, in cooperation with TV PRVA, invites representatives of the media and civil society to training “User Generated Content – UGC and its verification” December 4-5 – 5 and the role of journalists in criminal cases and reporting on the judiciary “December 6-7, which will be held at the PREMIER Hotel in Podgorica.
The training is part of the project “Strengthening the role of the media in improving criminal justice in Montenegro” funded through the European Union’s Media Professionalization Program. The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the media in Montenegro to report on criminal justice, by increasing the quality and credibility of investigative journalism in accordance with European Union and Council of Europe standards, as well as the Code of Journalists of Montenegro.
Lecturers will be Elina Makri, award-winning journalist and founder of Oikomedia, and Majd Khalifeh, media expert and journalist of the Belgian national TV VRT. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
NOTE: The organizers cover the cost of accommodation in the hotel (full board), as well as travel costs in the amount of the bus ticket from the place of arrival to Podgorica.
