
Three-day “School of Civic Education”
Center for Democracy and Human Rights – CEDEM, within the project “Civic Education for a Better Generation”, with the support from the Council of Europe and European Union under the joint program “Horizontal Instrument for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022” and the action “Quality Education for All” held a three-day “School of Civic Education”. The school was held on April 19-21, 2021 at the Avala Hotel in Budva.

This event was intended for students of pilot schools from the southern region of Montenegro, who acquired valuable knowledge and skills in the field of debate, critical thinking, rhetoric, politics, law, human rights, feminism, political and electoral systems, and international organizations and their significance. In addition, participants were encouraged to promote the fight against discrimination, encourage multiculturalism and mutual respect.

Lecturers at the school were: Almedina Vukić, MA – Acting Assistant of the Secretary General of the Government of Montenegro, Ana Raičević – Legal Expert and Lawyer, Marko Savić, MA – Teaching Associate at the Faculty of Political Sciences, UCG and Matija Miljanić – Project Coordinator at CEDEM.
