Conference “Asylum and Migration System: Two Stories”
Nenad Koprivica, Executive Director of CEDEM, participated in the conference “Asylum and Migration System: Two Stories” organized by Group 484 from Belgrade 25/26. September 2014. The conference was organized with the support of the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade and the Open Society Foundation Serbia.
The conclusion of the conference is that the problem of migrants cannot be solved without coordinated implementation of policies related to the asylum and migration system at the regional level. Also, the importance of combating irregular migration defined in Chapter 24 was emphasized, which is one of the conditions for full membership in the EU.
