Conference held: presentation of research results on NATO integration
CEDEM organized a press conference to present the results of a public opinion poll on citizens’ attitudes towards Montenegro’s NATO integration. The results of the research were presented by Nenad Koprivica, MA, Executive Director of CEDEM. It is a project implemented by CEDEM with the support of the NATO Public Diplomacy Program, Brussels.
The research aimed to identify the attitudes of Montenegrin citizens on certain key socio-political issues, and special emphasis was placed on continuous monitoring of trends over a long period of time through standardized research indicators. Central to this CEDEM survey are the following indicators: EU and NATO accession, citizens’ trust in state institutions, level of support for NATO integration in terms of socio-demographic characteristics, education, employment sector, age, nationality and NATO integration impact assessment indicator to Montenegro.
