
A three-day training for teachers and representatives of the pedagogical and psychological service
Center for Democracy and Human Rights – CEDEM held a three-day training for teachers and representatives of the pedagogical and psychological offices within certain primary and secondary schools in the southern region of Montenegro, thus improving the democratic capacities and skills of the teaching staff.

The training was held in the hotel “Avala”, from 14th until 16th of December, and was attended by 13 participants, while the lecturers at the training were prof. Dr. Dijana Vučković – Professor at the University of Montenegro, and the author of the teacher training program “Encouraging Democratic Culture in Schools” and Marko Pejović – Program Manager at CEDEM.
This training was organized in accordance with the teacher training program Encouraging Democratic Culture in Schools in Montenegro, which was created with the support of the European Union and the Council of Europe. The training was aimed at acquiring practical knowledge in planning of classes for the purpose of inclusion of democratic competencies in the curriculum, with the aim for the participants to acquire knowledge and skills to promote democratic culture among students.

The activity was implemented within the project “Civic Education for a Better Generation“, with the support of the Council of Europe and the European Union within the joint program “Horizontal Instrument for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022” and the action “Quality Education for All”.
