Training on investigative journalism was organized by CEDEM and TV PRVA
CEDEM and TV PRVA organized in Podgorica, 4/5. July 2017 training dedicated to investigative journalism and standards of journalistic ethics, within the project “Strengthening the role of the media in improving criminal justice in Montenegro” which aims to increase the credibility of investigative journalism in criminal justice, in accordance with European standards and the Code of Journalists of Montenegro . The project is funded by the European Union, through the Media Professionalization Program (2015).
The training, led by representatives of the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN Serbia), covered the following topics: the concept and importance of investigative journalism; modern techniques of investigative journalism; standards of ethics and integrity in investigative journalism. Special attention was paid to the presentation of practical examples and standards of investigative journalism in the region and the European Union.
