Within the project “Strengthening the role of the media in improving criminal justice in Montenegro”, TV Prva in cooperation with CEDEM begins broadcasting documentaries in order to raise public awareness about the functioning of criminal justice through the series PROCES.
The project aims to contribute to strengthening the capacity of the media in Montenegro to report on criminal justice, by increasing the quality and credibility of investigative journalism in this area.
A film about the prison system – The most difficult job shows the situation in the Montenegrin prison system, its shortcomings and challenges through the story of a prisoner and a prison guard. For the first time, the public has the opportunity to see how prisoners spend their time inside ZIKS and what their daily life in prison looks like. The film also deals with the problem of prison guards and explains how the authorities are trying to improve the working conditions of “the most difficult job in the security sector”.
