Consultative meeting: “Anti-corruption mechanisms and accountability of police officers in Montenegro”
Today, CEDEM organized a consultative meeting for the research project “Anti-Corruption Mechanisms and Accountability of Police Officers in Montenegro”. The project was supported by the OSCE Office in Podgorica.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Administration, as well as representatives of the civil sector, engaged in the fight against corruption and security sector reform.
The topics of the meeting held at the Ramada Hotel were: 1. Fight against police corruption – concrete data; 2. Cooperation between different mechanisms of control over the work of the police; 3. Cooperation with external anti-corruption mechanisms; 4. The role of civil society, and 5. Comments on the draft study.
Data from the discussion will be used to update the study, which will be published in mid-December.
