Dialogue on the Open Government Partnership in the Western Balkans, Tirana, 2015

CEDEM representative Marija Vuksanovic participated in the first regional forum dedicated to the Open Government Partnership, held in Tirana on 9/16. September, organized by the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and the Ministry of Public Administration and Innovation of the Republic of Albania.

The forum was organized as part of the “Advocacy for Open Governments” project implemented by PASOS in cooperation with partners from the Western Balkans, with the support of the European Commission. The Open Government Partnership is a multilateral initiative aimed at ensuring greater transparency of government policies, strengthening civic activism and the fight against corruption, as well as promoting the use of modern technologies to strengthen good governance. The forum brought together more than 200 participants from the region and the EU, representatives of institutions, civil society, the international community and the media who participated in panel discussions and workshops.
