CEDEM signed the Belgrade Declaration on Social Entrepreneurship

“Social entrepreneurship is one of the possible ways out of the crisis in the region, and it is therefore very important that governments in the region provide stimulating conditions for the development of social entrepreneurship, encourage greater cooperation with the business sector and improve the competitiveness of social enterprises.” .

This is a message from the first regional Forum of Social Innovations, which was held on Friday, March 14, 2014. organized by the Smart Collective and the Coalition for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in Serbia.

The Belgrade Declaration on the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans and Turkey was signed by representatives of organizations from Albania, BiH, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey. undertake to develop the social economy as a relevant model for the socially sustainable development of the entire region. This initiative has already been approved by more than 300 organizations that have so far supported the Declaration.
