Within the project “Women’s Empowerment Initiative: Education for Gender Equality” implemented in partnership with the Montenegrin Women’s Lobby (CZL), and with the support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, CEDEM published the publication “Women’s Representation in the Security Sector: Key Achievements and recommendations 2013 – 2019 “.
The publication contains: a) a comparative analysis of the constitutional, legal and institutional framework in terms of representation / equality and / or proportionality of women in the security sector (especially in terms of mechanisms of legal and institutional protection against discrimination); b) comparative analysis of data on the representation of women in the security sector in the period 2013 – 2018; c) recommendations for improving the participation of women in the security sector.
