Strengthening the role of the media in improving criminal justice in Montenegro
The project aims to contribute to strengthening the capacity of the media in Montenegro to report on criminal justice, by increasing the quality and credibility of investigative journalism in this area. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the integrity and expertise of the media for investigative reporting on criminal justice, in accordance with EU and / Council of Europe standards and the Code of Journalists in Montenegro. Over a period of 18 months, the project partners CEDEM and TV Prva will carry out a series of activities, including analysis of media coverage of criminal justice, training for journalists on investigative journalism techniques in criminal justice, preparation and broadcasting of television documentaries on criminal justice in Montenegro. Gori, as well as events aimed at promoting the Code of Ethics for Journalists in Montenegro.
The project is supported by the European Union, through the Media Professionalization Program.
The total value of the project is 108, 244. 95 EUR.
