
TRAINING FOR MEDIA PROFESSIONALS HELD
The Sociological Center of Montenegro (SOCEN) has successfully conducted a training as part of the project “Media Monitoring – Tracking Ethical Reporting on Human Rights Violations,” bringing together 15 media professionals who enhanced their skills in investigative journalism, fact-checking, and ethical reporting on sensitive topics.
🔍 During the training, participants had the opportunity to:
✅ Improve their investigative journalism techniques and source verification.
✅ Analyze challenges in combating disinformation.
✅ Discuss reporting on marginalized communities and politically sensitive topics.
✅ Learn how to professionally and impartially report on human rights issues.
🎯 The set objectives have been achieved! Participants gained concrete knowledge and tools for responsible journalism, contributing to greater accuracy and ethics in reporting.
The training was organized as part of a project implemented by CEDEM in partnership with SOCEN, with financial support from the European Union and co-financing from the Ministry of Public Administration.
