
Overview – project activities (first year)
During the first year of project implementation, key activities will be completed that will contribute to the improvement of ethical and accurate reporting on human rights violations.
✅ A communication and advocacy plan of the project will be developed, which will lay the foundations for the effective transmission of key messages and goals.
✅ A methodology for monitoring media coverage of human rights violations will be developed, in order to ensure a systematic and objective approach to content analysis.
✅ A methodology will be created for monitoring court proceedings in connection with media reporting, with a focus on consistency and precision in analyzing judicial processes.
✅ Two interviews with media professionals will be organized, where they will discuss their sources, fact-checking, depth of research and challenges they face.
✅ Training will be held for media professionals on reporting on human rights violations, with the aim of strengthening their capacities and ethical approach.
✅ A workshop on cooperation between media professionals and representatives of the judiciary will be held, where participants will discuss improving mutual communication and cooperation.
✅ Three storytelling videos will be created, which will highlight the importance of accurate and ethical reporting on human rights through personal stories and specific cases.

is implemented by CEDEM in partnership with SOCEN, with the financial support of the European Union and co-financing by the Ministry of Public Administration.
