SEC to take responsibility for possible misuse of budget funds
After the announcement of the final results of the 2016 parliamentary elections by the State Election Commission, it can be seen that even in 4 out of 17 confirmed electoral lists, there are significant discrepancies between the number of collected signatures and the number of votes won.
CEDEM believes that the State Election Commission should take responsibility for failing to ensure quality control of voter signature collection and possible misuse of budget funds in the total amount of EUR 89,400 paid to submitters of these electoral lists, in accordance with legal provisions on campaign finance.
