{"id":9858,"date":"2014-03-20T13:55:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-20T13:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/?p=9858"},"modified":"2022-03-30T09:20:16","modified_gmt":"2022-03-30T09:20:16","slug":"fokus-grupa-o-integraciji-u-eu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/en\/news\/fokus-grupa-o-integraciji-u-eu\/","title":{"rendered":"Focus group on EU integration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today, CEDEM organized a focus group with the aim of collecting and summarizing the views and opinions of citizens on the process of Montenegro&#8217;s accession to the European Union within the project Enlargement and Citizenship &#8211; Looking to the Future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is being implemented in partnership with the Institute of Public Affairs from Poland, the Center for Public Policy PROVIDUS from Latvia, the European Institute from Bulgaria and the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies from Belgrade, whose main coordinator is PASOS from the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main goal of this project, which is supported by the European Commission through the Europe for Citizens program, is to raise public awareness of the active role of citizens, both in the process of accession to the European Union and in the process of adopting policies at EU level. Member States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus group gathered about 15 participants from different sectors of socio-economic life of Montenegro who expressed their views on the advantages and disadvantages of the EU integration process, and identified the main mechanisms, problems and obstacles when it comes to the active role of citizens. in the decision-making process at the national level, but also perspectives regarding the participation of citizens at the EU level.
