{"id":9142,"date":"2018-07-12T11:08:00","date_gmt":"2018-07-12T11:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/?p=9142"},"modified":"2022-03-29T08:23:14","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T08:23:14","slug":"odrzana-cetvrta-obuka-za-zaposlene-u-instituciji-ombudsmana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/en\/news\/odrzana-cetvrta-obuka-za-zaposlene-u-instituciji-ombudsmana\/","title":{"rendered":"The fourth training for employees of the Ombudsperson Institution was held"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CEDEM organized the fourth and final training within the project &#8220;Strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ombudsman for Security Sector Oversight&#8221; supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Montenegro, on &#8220;Human Rights, Gender and the Security Sector&#8221;, 11 and 12 July in Kola\u0161in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experts at the fourth training were Graziella Pavone, Human Rights, Gender Equality and Security Expert (OSCE, Warsaw), Radmila Djakonovic (Gender Equality Coordinator at the Montenegrin Ministry of Defense) and Desanka Lopicic (Montenegrin Constitutional Court Judge).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first day of the training, the sessions focused on gender-based violence, its forms, handling complaints and gender-sensitive monitoring of places of detention, as well as the case law of the European Court of Human Rights on discrimination against women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the second day, the topics of integration of gender perspectives in the supervision of the security sector by the Ombudsman were discussed, then the issue of gender equality in the Montenegrin Army: legislation and general representation of women, as well as guidelines and examples of good practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a great honor that the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Montenegro, Mr. Hans G\u00fcnther Mattern, addressed us on this occasion, who expressed his satisfaction with the successfully implemented project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CEDEM organized the fourth and final training within the project &#8220;Strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ombudsman for Security Sector Oversight&#8221; supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Montenegro, on &#8220;Human Rights, Gender and the Security Sector&#8221;, 11 and 12 July in Kola\u0161in.
