Za vi\u0161e slika posjetite na\u0161u Galeriju.)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday we organized an educational info session on alternative ways of resolving disputes for students of journalism and journalists of print and electronic media, which aimed to inform media representatives about mediation (mediation), with special emphasis on family disputes and the exercise of parental rights) and criminal disputes (between a juvenile offender and a victim), in order for them to report more frequently and in accordance with the Code of Ethics on mediation as a legal instrument for the peaceful settlement of disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity is implemented within the project &#8220;Support to improving the efficiency and transparency of the Montenegrin judiciary&#8221;, which is funded by the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the very beginning of the educational session, Ognjen Markovic, CEDEM Program Manager, pointed out the need to make additional efforts to encourage the use of mediation as a fast, economical and fair way to exercise the right to legal protection and access to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that sense, as he said, CEDEM will conduct educational campaigns on mediation among representatives of the media and the judiciary throughout Montenegro throughout the year, bearing in mind that one of the goals of the project &#8220;Support to improve the efficiency and transparency of Montenegrin justice&#8221; is to strengthen direct cooperation of judicial institutions with media representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lecturers at the educational info session on alternative ways of resolving disputes were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Marina Lutovac, director of the Center for Mediation of Montenegro and mediator, who spoke on &#8220;Mediation in Montenegro &#8211; normative and institutional framework, practice and problems in implementation&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Slavica Stijovi\u0107, Secretary of the Basic Court in Podgorica, who spoke on the topic &#8220;Mediation &#8211; basic principles, mediation procedure and the role of mediators&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we organized an educational info session on alternative ways of resolving disputes for students of journalism and journalists of print and electronic media, which aimed to inform media representatives about mediation (mediation), with special emphasis on family disputes and the exercise of parental rights) and criminal disputes (between a juvenile offender and a victim), [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9038,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[94,158,157],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9037","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-human-rights","category-rule-of-law"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.9 -
