{"id":8932,"date":"2019-07-25T09:54:00","date_gmt":"2019-07-25T09:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/?p=8932"},"modified":"2022-03-28T11:40:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-28T11:40:44","slug":"novi-konkurs-za-dodjelu-malih-grantova","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/en\/news\/novi-konkurs-za-dodjelu-malih-grantova\/","title":{"rendered":"New competition for small grants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>CeMI Monitoring and Research Center in partnership with the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM) and the Network for the Affirmation of European Integration Processes (MAEIP)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>within the project &#8220;Judicial Reform: Improving the Capacity of Civil Society Organizations in Contributing to the Preservation of the Integrity of the Judiciary&#8221;, funded by the European Union, through the pre-accession support program (IPA) and the Ministry of Public Administration,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"646\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CEMI_CEDEM-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8934\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CEMI_CEDEM-1.jpg 646w, https:\/\/www.cedem.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CEMI_CEDEM-1-300x163.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 646px) 100vw, 646px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COMPETITION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for the award of small grants to non-governmental organizations with the aim of supporting the achievement of a higher level of democracy and the rule of law in Montenegro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project proposals worth 5,000.00 euros to 8,000.00 euros can be submitted no later than September 4, 2019. The total budget for the distribution of funds is 48,000.00 euros. So far, five civil society organizations have received a grant, and another grant remains to be awarded under this project. The projects will be implemented in order to support the current judicial reform in Montenegro by increasing the participation of the civil sector in the monitoring of trials and \/ or the policy-making process, which will improve the level of professionalism and integrity in the judiciary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The right to participate in this competition have NGOs registered in accordance with the Law on Non-Governmental Organizations that meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>that they are registered as citizens&#8217; associations at least one year before the deadline for submitting project proposals in this competition;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>to be based in Montenegro;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>to be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the project, with partners (if provided for in the project), and not to act as intermediaries;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>that in the previous year they have an annual turnover of more than 10,000 EUR (in the case of part of the capacity building program). If there is a partner (s) in the project, the annual turnover of all organizations participating in the project must be cumulatively more than 10,000 EUR.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Individuals, political parties, international and foreign organizations, government institutions, religious communities do not have the right to participate in this competition. Also, beneficiaries who have signed contracts within the IPA CSF call for proposals (EuropeAid \/ 135998 \/ DD \/ ACT \/ ME) are not eligible applicants for this call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for the competition, it is necessary to fill in: Applicants are required to submit a completed application package, which consists of: Application form, Budget Proposal and Logical Framework Matrix.
