That is why we have developed a <strong>trial monitoring methodology<\/strong>, which enables the analysis of media coverage of cases related to human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udd0d<\/strong><strong> How did we create the methodology?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc <strong>Research and analysis<\/strong> \u2013 We reviewed existing practices and standards in court case monitoring.<br>\ud83d\udccc <strong>Consultations with experts<\/strong> \u2013 Legal experts and media professionals helped ensure that the methodology is relevant and applicable.<br>\ud83d\udccc <strong>Defining key criteria<\/strong> \u2013 We focused on accuracy, impartiality, ethical principles, and professional standards in reporting.<br>\ud83d\udccc <strong>Testing and adaptation<\/strong> \u2013 The methodology has been refined to address the challenges of media coverage of judicial processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udce2<\/strong><strong> Why is this important?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By monitoring and analyzing court reporting, we contribute to improving journalism quality, strengthening public trust in the judiciary, and protecting human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd17 This activity is implemented within the <strong>&#8220;Media Watchdog \u2013 Monitoring for Ethical Reporting on Human Rights Violations&#8221;<\/strong> project, conducted by <strong>CEDEM<\/strong> in partnership with <strong>SOCEN<\/strong>, with financial support from the <strong>European Union<\/strong> and co-financing from the <strong>Ministry of Public Administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For court reporting to be accurate, responsible, and ethical, it is essential to have clear guidelines and standards.
