For this reason, the methodology is designed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2714 Categorize media based on ownership, editorial policy, and history of reporting on human rights.<br>\u2714 Identify patterns of bias, misinformation, and ethical violations by analyzing past controversial cases.<br>\u2714 Define objective indicators for assessing reporting quality, including fact-checking, the use of credible sources, and coverage of vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special attention is given to challenges such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Disinformation campaigns and selective reporting,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal pressures on investigative journalists,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issues of self-censorship and inconsistent application of media regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This methodology will serve as the foundation for an annual media monitoring report, set to be completed by the end of the year.
