Seminar: The right to personal liberty and security
Today, organized by CEDEM, the Center for Judicial Training and the AIRE Center in London, a two-day expert seminar on convention standards and practice of Montenegrin courts regarding the application of protection of the right to liberty and security of person under Article 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights rights and freedoms.
The seminar brought together international and local legal experts, judges of basic and higher courts in Montenegro, as well as representatives of the Bar Association of Montenegro, international and non-governmental organizations. The seminar was organized with the support of the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation, through the Rule of Law Program in Southeast Europe, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the British Embassy in Podgorica.
